For Fallout: New Vegas on the PlayStation 3, a GameFAQs Q&A question titled "How exactly do i get the all companions Achievement?".
Remove certain names. Companion refers to people in the game that follow the player, not people in the game that are essential to quests and require you to follow them. Neil is not a companion as he does not follow nor fight along side you and cannot be given items and can also be killed at any time.
Hey there people. Just to start this thread i must say i love New Vegas. ;) Now, i want to make myself a companion dog. I don't know how to do this, so a fallout new vegas companion tutorial would help a lot. I tried to just copy from existing companions, but i got to change too much in the scripts, and the quests that its just a pain.
Guess Who I Saw Today is a side quest in Fallout: New Vegas. Before I relay this story to you guys, let me say that I play Fallout: New Vegas, vanilla, on a Windows 10 PC. So, I was playing the game normally. I had both Rex and Boone on my side, and I felt like the baddest guy wandering the Mojave. However, I remebered I finally had a chance to deliver Cass to the Silver Rush, and I knew where she was. Hoping for a lengthy river of caps and EXP, I

Nope, if you are playing non-hardcore, they just get knocked out. Companions are marked as essential in normal mode, but can be killed in hardcore. Im assuming hardcore companion deaths are the same as FO3 companion deaths. They only die in hardcore mode.
The King (Fallout: New Vegas) X6-88; Codsworth (Fallout) Dogmeat (Fallout) Craig Boone; Chapter 1: Fallout 3 companions react to MacCready all grown up Summary:
Lonesome road is literally a giant ED-E’s personal companion quest. It also saved ED-E as a “character” due to it actually giving him a character and not a generic fallout 3 companion. ED-E would be wayyy lower in the the fallout community’s companion tier list if it wasn’t for Lonesome Road
Accepted Answer. Companions will use the best weapon available to them, which means you could take the better weapons away and give them the weapon you want them to use instead. There's also the "Ranged/Melee" toggle part of the Companion wheel, especially if it's a melee/unarmed weapon you're trying to give them.
Hardcore mode is an alternative game mode as well as an achievement and trophy in Fallout: New Vegas. The achievement/trophy is awarded for completing the game from start to finish in Hardcore mode. The mode is initially available just before the player character leaves Doc Mitchell's house for the first time and they are given the achievement/trophy for keeping Hardcore mode on continuously
